About Us

Our Mission

At The McKenzie Foundation Inc., we aim to support equal access to quality education for children in rural areas of Mt. Pleasant, Portland, Jamaica. Through dedicated funding and resource allocation, we strive to bridge the educational gap faced by these communities.

Crispin Mckenzie was a true icon of Mt. Pleasant in Portland, where he served as Superintendent of Portland Parish Council for many years and as a dedicated dairy farmer. Known affectionately as Mr. Mack, he was renowned for his gentle and kind nature - he was a man of distinction who always offered help to those he knew.

This foundation honors Mr. Mack's legacy, ensuring that his good deeds continue to inspire the youth of Mt. Pleasant. He was the father of thirteen children and it is fitting that his name should be proudly engraved in the projects of Mt. Pleasant as part of his enduring heritage.
